Conditions of the Sale

Winfield Auction has made every effort to correctly describe the items to be sold. All lots are sold "AS IS" and customers should examine them prior to the bidding. The auctioneer reserves the right to make verbal corrections and provide additional information from the block at the time of the sale.

IN ALL MATTERS THE RECORDS OF THE AUCTION WILL BE

FINAL – AND ALL SALES WILL BE FINAL!

All purchasers must register for a buyer’s number and provide satisfactory identification prior to bidding. A Driver’s License will provide adequate information at this time.

NOTE: NO OUT OF STATE CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED!Cash, Pennsylvania checks, traveler’s checks, money orders, debit cards and credit cards (Mastercard and Visa only) are acceptable.

13% BUYER’S PREMIUM WITH A 3% DISCOUNT FOR CASH OR A GOOD CHECK.

A 6% PA sales tax will be applied to all purchases made except to persons with a current Dealer’s Sales Tax Exemption Number on file with the auction.

IMPORTANT:  Once the auctioneer indicates in any way that the item is sold it will not be re-offered!  This means you will have to be on your toes.  At Winfield Auction Center SOLD MEANS SOLD!

Absentee bids are accepted with a 25% deposit by money order, certified check or credit card.  This will be a non-refundable deposit even if the absentee bidder withdraws his or her bid.

The auctioneer may reject any bid which, in his estimation he considers less than the value of the item.  Phone bidding is available to approved buyers, however arrangements must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the sale.

The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal check until the check has cleared the bank, if the auctioneer believes it is necessary to protect his interests.

WHEN YOU BID ON ANY ITEM IT IS AN OPEN ACKNOWLEDGMENT 

THAT YOU ACCEPT ALL CONDITIONS OF THE SALE! 

Shipping arrangements can be made for an additional fee.  We will need your credit card information to charge packing, shipping and insurance costs.

RECEIVING OF CONSIGNMENTS IS BY APPOINTMENT.
